Spokesman SP Bashir Usman stated from Birnin Kebbi that joint teams of police, military, and vigilantes swiftly cordoned the area, with EOD-CBRN specialists on-site assessing potential explosives amid Nigeria’s northwest security tensions involving banditry and IED threats in spots like Kaduna and Sokoto.
