KANO MOB SETS NSCDC OUTPOST ABLAZE, LYNCHES 3 SUSPECTED BIKE THIEVES

A rampaging mob from multiple communities in Kano State’s Dawakin Kudu LGA torched an NSCDC outpost and lynched three suspected motorcycle thieves late Sunday, in a shocking breakdown of law and order that left officers injured and authorities scrambling for answers.

The chaos erupted around 10:30pm at the Danmaje outpost when Yansango residents dragged the trio – nabbed at a notorious robbery hotspot – to the facility, only for hordes from Yansango, Madinawa, Gagarawa, Limawa, Yankatsari, Danmaje, and Gurjiya to swarm, demand their release for instant justice, barricade the site, force entry, set it ablaze, and execute the suspects before backup arrived, NSCDC PRO SC Ibrahim Abdullahi revealed Monday.

Three officers escaped with injuries now under treatment; State Commandant Mohammed Hassan-Agalama launched a full probe per CG orders, vowing to hunt and prosecute attackers while pleading with Dawakin Kudu folks: “Stay calm, shun mob rule – protect lives through proper channels!”
