EX-SENATOR BASSEY SLAMS PDP CRISIS ON BETRAYAL OF FOUNDING PRINCIPLES

Former Cross River South Senator Gershom Bassey didn’t hold back in Calabar, pinning the PDP’s epic meltdown squarely on ditching the wisdom of its founding fathers – a move that’s left the once-mighty party gasping for air!

Bassey ripped into the 2023 gubernatorial disaster, where PDP ignored roaring calls for power rotation to the South per the sacred Calabar Ogoja Accord, arrogantly betting they could bulldoze anywhere. “Bitter-sweet,” he called it – sweet for Cross River upholding rotation pride, bitter as PDP’s “fatal error” of silencing the people sparked self-destruction from Abuja meddlers and local enablers, turning the party into a ghost.

Still, Bassey’s optimistic: PDP bounces back because “there is a future.” On APC? Too early – halftime vibes, no final whistle yet.
