CATHOLIC BISHOP BRINGS CHRISTMAS JOY TO ADAMWA INMATES WITH COW & ESSENTIALS

Most Rev. Stephen Mamza, Bishop of Yola Catholic Diocese, turned Christmas into a beacon of hope Thursday, donating a cow, drugs, soaps, slippers, plastic buckets, and more to inmates at Jimeta Correctional Centre in Adamawa State – proving no one’s left out in the festive love.

Mamza called it his annual outreach to spark joy, dignity, and belonging for those behind bars, many there due to tough breaks rather than hardcore crime. “Christmas means sharing and reflection – inmates deserve care too,” he beamed, reminding them they’re valued society members amid the season’s cheer.

Acting Controller Benjamin Reuben grabbed the goodies with gratitude, vowing smart use to lift inmate morale and welfare – a heartfelt boost in Nigeria’s correctional corners.
