ARMY CHIEF PROMISES TOP CARE FOR WOUNDED SOLDIERS

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu, has personally assured soldiers injured on duty that they will receive the best medical treatment available, emphasizing that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.

During a visit to the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna, Maj.-Gen. Isah Abdullahi, the Army’s Chief of Administration, delivered this message and assessed the hospital’s progress. He noted the hospital’s significant improvements and its role as a top healthcare facility for both military personnel and civilians.

“This hospital has transformed remarkably and continues to serve not just our soldiers but the community at large,” Abdullahi said. He also stressed the military’s commitment to getting wounded soldiers back on their feet and back to duty as soon as possible.

His visit included meeting injured soldiers and touring the hospital alongside Brig.-Gen. Godwin Ogoh and other key officials, all focused on boosting services and addressing challenges.
