KWARA CUSTOMS WELCOMES NEW BOSS OGUNDEYI, VOWS TEAMWORK & OPEN BOOK OPS

Kwara Command of Nigeria Customs Service got a fresh helm Tuesday as outgoing Comptroller Faith Mathew Ojeifo passed the baton to Acting Area Controller Deputy Comptroller Najeem Akanmu Ogundeyi—celebrating past wins in revenue rakes, smuggling busts and top-tier service, now geared for even bigger leaps through unity and straight-shooter leadership.

Ojeifo bowed out gracefully in the Lokoja handover, thanking officers, sister agencies and stakeholders for the collaborative grind that fueled successes, while hyping Ogundeyi’s chops and begging max loyalty to keep the momentum roaring—thanking Customs CG Bashir Adeniyi for his shot at the top.

New sheriff Ogundeyi hit the ground running, saluting Ojeifo’s rock-solid foundation of discipline and pro vibes, pledging a squad-first approach anchored in transparency, rulebook rigor and motivation to smash revenue targets, secure borders and smooth trade—rallying all hands to tackle fresh hurdles and level up Kwara’s customs game.
