Czech Republic’s envoy to Nigeria, Tomáš Výprachtický, is firing up deeper economic collab across sectors, hailing Nigeria’s vast resources, tech savvy and manpower as perfect matches for Prague’s know-how at the glitzy launch of the Nigeria-Central Europe Chamber of Commerce (NCECC) in Abuja.
Speaking at the Sunday dinner backed by the Regional Trade Institute and Czech Embassy, Výprachtický spotlighted long-standing bonds—like Nigerian priests in Czech monasteries—and vowed to unlock untapped potential in trade, industry and creatives, creating a chill platform for officials, biz bosses and innovators to swap ideas and seal deals.
NCECC President Dr Paschal Onyemaechi, registered since August, eyes Europe-Africa synergy—tech transfers, student savings via Czech deals, market intel and the NEPDA project—inducting heavyweights like Prof. Andrew Haruna, Dr Rislan Kanya, Dr Jamilu Gwamna, Dr Dere Awosika and ex-Speaker Yakubu Dogara to drive bilateral wins.
