Col. Olalekan Bamiteko has stepped in as the 12th Rector of the Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology (NACEST) in Makurdi, promising to ramp up academic excellence, staff welfare and student support in a smooth handover ceremony.
In his inaugural speech, Bamiteko thanked Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen. Waidi Shaibu for the trust, vowing a harmonious workplace free of rivalries while building on predecessor Brig.-Gen. Solomon Inuwa’s solid legacies—he also shouted out Registrar Lt Col. Umar Ja’afaru for steady leadership.
