Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has dropped a bombshell, resigning from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) effective immediately due to ongoing leadership turmoil at the national level.
In a letter dated November 4 to his ward chairman in Sagba Abogunde, Ward 2, Ede North LGA, Adeleke thanked PDP for his past wins as Senator and Governor but called it quits over the crisis. Sources hint he might join the Accord Party soon, with Osun’s governorship election set for August 8, 2026.
This move shakes up Osun politics as Adeleke eyes his political future.
