TTP MOVES 900K+ TRUCKS TO NIGERIA PORTS IN 2025 – TECH REVOLUTION AHEAD

Trucks Transit Parks (TTP) MD Jama Onwubuariri revealed a massive win at a Lagos roundtable with Shipping Correspondents Association of Nigeria (SCAN): over 900,000 trucks zoomed into Nigerian ports from Jan to Nov 28, thanks to tech-savvy traffic and cargo systems slashing gridlock and boosting efficiency.

Looking to 2026, TTP rolls out game-changers like Electronic Tagging for camera-scanned truck IDs at gates, e-Column Interchange Logs, and YAD traffic tools to ditch human meddling, speed evacuations, and cut trucker turnaround. They’re also expanding the ETO scheme to Cross River, Abia, Kaduna, Bauchi, and Yobe, eyeing NPA license renewal on stellar performance.

SCAN President Moses Ebosele welcomed the updates, keeping doors open for maritime stakeholders. This surge—building on 3M+ movements since 2021’s Ètò launch—means 65% logistics cost drops and 400+ daily throughput, fueling port power under Tinubu’s economic push.
