Nigerian Army troops crushed it in the last 24 hours, freeing 21 kidnapping victims, stopping terror attacks dead, and busting illegal oil theft rings nationwide. From relentless offensives in multiple theaters, these heroes denied criminals any breathing room.
In Zamfara and Kebbi under Operation FANSAN YAMMA, soldiers repelled assaults—like in Maradun’s Baigasuwa community where they saved residents (four civilians wounded) and rescued five people plus a baby after bandits fled on the Unashi-Doka road. Kebbi saw tragedy too, with terrorists killing three Immigration officers at a Bagudo checkpoint, but troops hit back hard.
Operation MESA in Kogi and Kwara shone bright: four victims freed in a Lokoja firefight, 11 more escaped, plus one in FCT’s Kwali area—troops grabbed two motorcycles and a radio too. Down south, Operation Delta Safe nabbed 350 bags of stolen crude (10,500 liters) in Rivers’ Eleme and thief gear in Bonny.
North-East’s Operation HADIN KAI and Desert Sanity IV stayed steady with clearance ops and no big incidents. Army vows to keep the pressure on, staying hyper-alert everywhere.
