Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sunday Aneke hailed the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority’s (NCAA) top-tier standards at the Air Traffic Services Training Centre (ATSTC) graduation in Kaduna, affirming grads are ready for global skies. Represented by AVM Ahmed Dari, he celebrated completers of three key courses: Standard Flight Dispatch Ops 1/2025, Air Traffic Control Assistance 23/2025, and Base Ops 20/2025.
Flight dispatchers now master mission planning, aircraft prep, and safety orchestration behind the scenes. Air traffic assistants stand as sky guardians, handling pilot guidance, collision avoidance, and crisis traffic flow with sharp competence.
Base ops pros ensure airfield smoothness, ground coordination, and compliance—unsung heroes keeping every flight secure. Together, these roles supercharge NAF ops and Nigeria’s airspace safety, boosting national security.
Aneke praised instructors, thanked President Bola Tinubu’s support, and urged grads to uphold integrity and skill-sharpening. ATSTC Commandant AVM Nosiru Folaji noted 90+ officers and 1,800+ airmen trained since 2017, inviting civil aviation partners.
