PLATEAU UNITY CHRISTMAS CAROLS FESTIVAL TO PROMOTE PEACE AND TOGETHERNESS

Caleb Mutfwang, Governor of Plateau State, says the 2025 Christmas Carols and Praise Festival is all about promoting unity, togetherness, and tolerance among the people. Speaking after inspecting the event venue at the Ten Commandments Prayer ground in Du, Jos South LGA, Mutfwang emphasized his administration’s commitment to a peaceful and united Plateau.

“The essence of this carols is to bring our people together and break down barriers,” he said. “It’s a platform for everyone in Plateau to come out and unite, making us stronger.”

The three-day festival, starting on November 27, will feature prominent guests including former Heads of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon and Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, as well as Minister Hannatu Musawa. Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre will also speak.

Fans can look forward to inspiring gospel performances from artists and choirs within and beyond Plateau. Security is assured by Brig. Gen. Gakji Shipi, the governor’s Special Adviser on Security, to keep lives and property safe during the event.
