NIGERIAN ARMY SCORES MAJOR SUCCESSES WITH OPERATIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY

The Nigerian Army has recorded multiple operational victories within the past 24 hours across the North-East, North-West, North-Central, and South-South regions, according to a source at Army Headquarters. The troops sustained an aggressive stance against criminal groups under various operations.

In Kano State, under Operation Fansan Yamma, 3 Brigade foiled a terrorist movement from Katsina and rescued a female abductee while another escaped. In Kaduna, 1 Division troops apprehended a suspect and seized motorcycles and items following an attack on Madobiya community.

In Katsina, 17 Brigade recovered weapons, ammunition, and cash after engaging terrorists. Sokoto State troops intercepted suspected terrorist suppliers with seized petrol and communication equipment.

In Kebbi, troops reclaimed firearms and ammunitions from rustling terrorists. Under Operation MESA, forces in Nasarawa apprehended drug peddlers and destroyed illegal markets, while Kogi troops seized over 100kg of cannabis and arrested suspects.

Operation Whirl Stroke teams in Taraba apprehended a suspected kidnapping gang member. Also, JTF forces in Bayelsa destroyed illegal refining sites, disrupting criminal petroleum operations.

These coordinated efforts highlight the Nigerian Army’s unrelenting commitment to securing Nigeria’s diverse regions from insurgency and organized crime.
