Fans were on the edge of their seats as the match lived up to expectations, with both teams trading leads in a goal-for-goal showcase.
Safety Shooters remain league leaders after a commanding 25-15 win over Osun United. Rima Strikers dominated Benue Buffaloes 36-16, while Niger United upset Lagos Seasiders 28-21 following a late comeback. Correction Boys edged De Defenders 34-27 to boost their standings.
On the women’s side, defending champions Safety Babes flexed their muscle with a 40-27 triumph over Rivers Queens, aiming for their fifth straight title. Imo Grasshoppers narrowly beat Rima Queens 28-27 in a nail-biter, while Omo Ogiefo Academy stunned Plateau Peacocks 26-24. Ekiti Queens closed the round with a confident 35-26 win over Defender Babes.
The action continues daily at Rowe Park until November 30 before moving to the National Stadium, Surulere.
