Sophos, a global pioneer in cybersecurity, has announced new integrations connecting Sophos Intelix its advanced cyber threat intelligence platform with Microsoft Security Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Simon Reed, Sophos’ Chief Scientific Research Officer, said this allows organizations to access real-time Sophos threat intelligence directly within Microsoft’s AI-powered environments, strengthening defense and speeding up threat response.
Sophos Intelix processes over 223 terabytes of telemetry daily, producing 34 million detections and automatically blocking more than 11 million threats worldwide. This integration democratizes top-tier cyber intelligence, enabling users to investigate alerts, analyze files, scan domains, and triage incidents all through natural language interactions embedded in familiar Microsoft platforms like Teams and 365 Copilot.
Microsoft’s Corporate VP Vasu Jakkal emphasized this collaboration creates a new era of AI-human synergy in cybersecurity, giving defenders faster, more precise insights to battle increasingly sophisticated attacks, where data exfiltration happens in as little as hours.
Together, Sophos and Microsoft are revolutionizing the way organizations protect themselves, making cutting-edge cyber defense accessible to all.
