PRESIDENT TINUBU ANNOUNCES RESCUE OF 38 ABDUCTED KWARA CHURCH WORSHIPPERS, COMMENDS SECURITY FORCES

President Bola Tinubu announced the successful rescue of all 38 worshippers abducted from Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Isegun, Eruku in Kwara State. He shared the news on his verified X account, noting that the breakthrough followed days of coordinated operations by security agencies he personally supervised after cancelling his trip to the G20 Summit in Johannesburg.

The President also confirmed the recovery of 51 missing students from a Catholic school in Niger State. He reiterated his commitment to national security, emphasizing that every Nigerian has the right to safety under his watch.

President Tinubu praised the dedication of security forces and pledged continuous efforts to strengthen intelligence, inter-agency coordination, and ongoing counter-terrorism actions.
