KANO STATE SOCIAL PROTECTION AGENCY DEEPENS PARTNERSHIP WITH ALIKO DANGOTE FOUNDATION TO BOOST WELFARE PROGRAMS

The Kano State Social Protection Agency (KASPA) has reiterated its commitment to strengthen collaboration with the Aliko Dangote Foundation, aiming to expand social protection programs for vulnerable populations across Kano’s 44 local government areas. Director-General Dr. Fatima Abdullahi, leading a high-level delegation, highlighted the alignment between KASPA’s goals and the Foundation’s humanitarian efforts during a courtesy visit to the Foundation’s office.

Dr. Abdullahi praised Governor Abba Yusuf for supporting the partnership, noting that deeper cooperation will enhance poverty reduction, social inclusion, and livelihood support for Kano’s most vulnerable. Alhaji Sunusi Abdulkadir of the Dangote Foundation affirmed continued backing through micro-grants, social palliatives, and humanitarian initiatives, welcoming KASPA’s involvement in future projects.

This visit marks a significant move toward building a robust safety net system poised to make a far-reaching impact for millions of Kano residents.
