Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has extended warm congratulations to Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, on the remarkable occasion of his 80th birthday and 35th coronation anniversary. The governor described this extraordinary double celebration as a unique blessing for the eminent traditional ruler.
Describing Oba Adejugbe as a history maker and a traditional leader of immense influence, Oyebanji praised the monarch’s significant contributions to the growth and development of Ado Ekiti. He recalled Oba Adejugbe’s crucial role in the creation of Ekiti State, highlighting the sacrifices made alongside other patriots to realize this dream.
The governor celebrated Oba Adejugbe as a father figure, mentor, adviser, and a repository of wisdom, always available to counsel efforts to elevate the state.
