PRESIDENT TINUBU HEADS TO G20 AND AU-EU SUMMITS

President Bola Tinubu is set to jet off to Johannesburg, South Africa, and Luanda, Angola, this week for two major international summits. His first stop is the20th G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg, followed by the AU-EU Summit in Angola.​

The G20 Summit, themed “Solidarity, Equality, Sustainability,” brings together leaders from the world’s top economies, the EU, AU, and global institutions. The agenda covers inclusive growth, climate change, food systems, critical minerals, decent work, and artificial intelligence.​

President Tinubu will hold bilateral meetings to advance Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Agenda and discuss regional and global peace, security, and development.​

After the G20, Tinubu will join AU and EU leaders in Luanda for their 7th Summit, where they’ll brainstorm on climate change, inclusivity, infrastructure, the digital economy, creative industries, manufacturing, and agribusiness.​

He’ll be accompanied by key officials, including the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Solid Minerals, Trade and Investment, and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency.​
