Russian missile and drone attacks targeted Ukraine’s eastern Kharkiv region overnight, killing about three people and injuring 10 more, according to military administrator Vitaliy Karabanov. The death toll may rise as authorities continue receiving reports of possible victims.
Two missiles struck the town of Balaklia during the night, while a drone attack hit the rural settlement of Velykyi Burluk, killing one and injuring another, alongside damage to private homes.
Ukraine has been defending itself against Russia’s invasion for over three and a half years, supported by Western aid.
