The Amuwo Games volleyball event in Lagos is heating up, with Rhinos defeating Lions 15-12, 12-17, 15-13 to reach the final. Elephant also secured their spot by overcoming Sharks 15-12, 13-15, 15-11 in another intense semi-final.
The tournament, a grassroots initiative featuring eight teams across 16 sports, has been a great platform showcasing resilience and competitive spirit. Rhinos’ Oluwatoyin Ojo praised the event’s role in fostering community unity and expressed confidence in claiming the gold.
Meanwhile, Lions’ Idris Adenuga acknowledged the tough loss but commended the excitement and commitment involved in the Games.
The stage is now set for an epic clash between Rhinos and Elephant in the volleyball final, promising a thrilling conclusion to the event.
