The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Kaduna Area Command, has scored its highest-ever monthly revenue by generating ₦5.16 billion in October 2025—an impressive 96% above its target and 196% target performance. The command’s Public Relations Officer, CSC Ridwan Yusuf, announced this milestone reflecting a 61.89% year-on-year increase compared to the ₦24.06 billion collected from January to October 2024.
Area Controller Comptroller Saad Hassan credited the success to officers’ professionalism, improved stakeholder engagement, digitalisation of excise operations, and enhanced officer motivation, all driven under the vision of Comptroller General Bashir Adeniyi. He pledged to sustain momentum by facilitating legitimate trade and refining revenue collection while upholding integrity and professionalism.
This breakthrough underscores the command’s vital role in supporting Nigeria’s economic stability and growth.
