NIGER POLICE ARREST ARMED ROBBER, RECOVER TOY GUN AND STOLEN ITEMS IN MINNA

The Niger State Police Command has arrested 28-year-old Usman Isyaku in connection with an armed robbery that took place on October 24 in Rijau, near Minna. Spokesman SP Wasiu Abiodun disclosed that Isyaku and accomplices, who are still at large, robbed a residence of an Infinix phone, motorcycle, shop keys, and money.

During a search of Isyaku’s residence, officers recovered a toy gun, the stolen Infinix phone, a cutlass, an ATM card, a motorcycle tyre and tube, and some illicit drugs. Isyaku admitted to the crime during interrogation.

The police continue to pursue the other suspects, highlighting the command’s dedication to combating crime and maintaining safety in the state.
