KWARA POLICE ARREST FOUR SUSPECTS IN BRUTAL MURDER OF CHIEF IMAM IN TSARAGI

The Kwara State Police Command has apprehended four suspects in connection with the gruesome killing of the Chief Imam of Sokunkpan Village, Tsaragi in Edu Local Government Area. The incident occurred on November 4, 2025, following the death of a 25-year-old resident, Ibrahim Gana, who was accused by his brothers Mohammed Shaba and Mahmud Gana of being killed by the Chief Imam, Alhaji Abdullahi Audu.

The accused brothers reportedly mobilized a mob that attacked the Chief Imam with deadly weapons, leading to his death. Police swiftly intervened to arrest four suspects, with efforts ongoing to capture others involved.
