DAVID BECKHAM KNIGHTED AT WINDSOR CASTLE FOR SPORT AND CHARITY

Football legend David Beckham was honoured with a knighthood by King Charles at Windsor Castle on Tuesday for his outstanding contributions to sport and charity. The 50-year-old former England captain expressed pride at receiving the prestigious accolade, describing it as his “proudest moment.”

Sir David’s journey began in east London, making a remarkable Premier League debut for Manchester United in 1995 and collecting numerous honours including six Premier League titles and two FA Cups. Beyond football, he has been a UNICEF goodwill ambassador since 2005 and supports various charitable causes.

Beckham’s wife, Victoria, a fashion designer and former Spice Girl, joined him for the ceremony and crafted his bespoke morning suit inspired by the King’s style. The couple share four children—Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

Also recognised at the ceremony were Nobel Prize-winning author Kazuo Ishiguro and celebrated West End performer Elaine Paige.
