Lagos PDP chieftain Prince Laja Adeoye has appealed to party leaders entangled in legal battles to withdraw court cases and resolve conflicts internally before the party’s National Convention scheduled for November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan.
Adeoye emphasized the importance of unity and peace among party members, urging them to embrace the PDP’s constitutional mechanisms for Alternative Dispute Resolution rather than prolong disputes through courts. He acknowledged recent court rulings that stopped the convention due to procedural breaches but expressed confidence that the convention would proceed as planned once issues are settled.
Calling on members to prioritize party progress over personal ambitions, Adeoye highlighted ongoing disciplinary actions against officers accused of undermining party harmony, encouraging due process and restoration of discipline.
He believes the convention will rejuvenate the PDP, strengthen unity, and set the stage for electoral success.
