INEC ACCREDITS 76 MEDIA ORGANIZATIONS FOR ANAMBRA GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION COVERAGE

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially accredited 76 media organizations and 508 journalists to cover the upcoming Anambra Governorship Election set for November 8. The commission confirmed this in a statement from Abuja on Thursday.

Accredited media personnel can pick up their ID tags between November 3 and November 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the International Press Centre, NUJ Secretariat Complex in Awka, right behind the CBN building.

INEC reminded all accredited journalists to strictly follow the Code of Conduct for Election Coverage, warning that any violations could lead to withdrawal of accreditation. Selected media groups will have access to the Collation Centre for transparent result coverage, provided they comply with security and operational rules.

For questions, media workers are advised to contact the INEC Director of Voter Education and Publicity.
