CUPP PRAISES PRESIDENT TINUBU’S ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE GAINS, CALLS FOR CONTINUED FOCUS ON CONNECTIVITY

The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has officially commended President Bola Tinubu’s administration for the impressive progress made in road infrastructure nationwide. Mark Adebayo, CUPP National Spokesperson, shared this in Abuja after an independent inspection tour that included the Abuja-Lokoja-Benin Road and other key projects.

The CUPP steering committee, which traveled across major zones to verify government claims, found the roads and ongoing projects truly remarkable, prompting a rare public endorsement from the opposition. The group acknowledged the hard work of Works Minister Senator David Umahi, highlighting him as one of the most dedicated ministers in the current administration.

Projects like the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano expressway, Lagos-Calabar coastal highway, Benin-Shagamu-Ore road, and dualisation of Abuja-Lokoja-Benin road using modern concrete technology were specifically praised.

Adebayo emphasized that positive developments deserve recognition regardless of political affiliation and urged the government to continue investing in infrastructure with transparency and stakeholder engagement.

He also reminded that citizens have the right to monitor public projects without harassment, offering a vital channel for constructive feedback.
