ARSENAL EXTENDS PREMIER LEAGUE LEAD WITH DOMINANT 2-0 WIN AT BURNLEY

Arsenal moved seven points clear at the top of the Premier League following a commanding 2-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday. The Gunners showcased their set-piece prowess once again, with Viktor Gyokeres opening the scoring in the 14th minute from a corner involving Declan Rice and Gabriel. Gyokeres nodded home from close range to give Arsenal the lead.

The team maintained control, doubling their advantage in the 35th minute through Rice, who powered a header past Burnley goalkeeper Martin Dubravka after a swift counter-attack. Burnley struggled to find any rhythm and failed to register a single shot on goal in the first half.

Arsenal’s defense stood strong, achieving their seventh consecutive clean sheet across all competitions. The win marked Arsenal’s fifth straight league victory, keeping them comfortably ahead of Bournemouth in second place, while Burnley remain near the relegation zone.
