Governor Chukwuma Soludo is transforming healthcare in Anambra State, having rehabilitated 130 primary healthcare centres (PHCs) with power, water, and modern equipment. Dr Afam Obidike, the state’s Health Commissioner, revealed these achievements during a tour of the new Solution Trauma Centre in Awka. Soludo’s vision includes new hospitals like Okpoko General and Solution Specialist Hospital, plus upgrades to facilities across multiple LGAs. The government introduced digital healthcare with telemedicine, set up ambulance stations, and recruited over 1,000 health workers. These reforms focus on accessibility, quality, and making Anambra a model for healthcare in Nigeria. The state’s bold steps are expected to push health standards to global levels within five years.
Soludo isn’t just rebuilding hospitals he’s building a legacy of care, making health services more on-point and accessible to everyone in Anambra. This vision for a healthy, green, and digital Anambra is what the governor’s team wants the people to support in the upcoming election.
