Odion Okunsebor, 21, was sentenced by an Ogudu Magistrates’ Court to two years in prison for defrauding victims of over ₦770,000 through online impersonation and theft.

Victims included business owners like Jafaru Abass, who lost ₦220,000, and others who suffered significant financial losses.
The court sentenced him to one year for stealing and two years for impersonation to run concurrently. Magistrate O.A. Dadodu warned youths against using social media for crime as internet fraud cases surge.
The investigation was led by Corporal Kolawole Ayoola of the Isheri-Magodo Command Tactical Squad.
