The Kano State Ministry of Education has officially denied circulating reports about recruiting 3,917 teachers under the ‘Kano State Government Basic Education Teachers Mapping and Recruitment Plan (2025–2028).’ Malam Balarabe Abdullahi, Director of Public Enlightenment, described the news as misleading and baseless.
He confirmed that no official statement or directive has been released regarding any new teacher recruitment and urged the public to verify reports from authorized sources. Abdullahi warned against relying on unverified social media information, especially related to employment in public service.
This clarification aims to prevent public confusion and misinformation regarding teacher recruitment in Kano State.
