NLNG AND NCDMB INTEGRATE TECH TALENT WITH ULTRA-MODERN ICT CENTRE IN PORT HARCOURT

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) have inaugurated a state-of-the-art ICT centre at Baptist High School, Port Harcourt, designed to empower youth with digital skills and foster innovation. The facility, featuring a 40-seater computer lab, smart boards, and a 20KVA solar power system, was unveiled as part of the closing ceremony for the Human Capital Development Basic Training Programme.

Representing NCDMB, Mr. Olugbenga Sheba described the centre as a gateway to knowledge and future opportunities, embodying confidence in Nigerian students as creators and innovators. NLNG reinforced its commitment to promoting tech inclusion and sustainable development through such impactful education projects.

The initiative aligns with Nigeria’s broader vision to build local capacity, sustainable communities, and enhance youth employability with industry-relevant skills. The centre equips students and teachers with modern tools in a conducive learning environment supported by cutting-edge technology.
