EFCC PROMISES FAIR FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION — NO VIP GETS A PASS!

The EFCC is doubling down on its mission to tackle corruption head-on, with Chairman Ola Olukoyede assuring that no politician, regardless of party ties, will get special treatment. In a recent Abuja briefing marking his two-year tenure, Olukoyede’s team confirmed ongoing investigations are thorough and impartial. They emphasized patience is key, as careful, detailed work leads to stronger cases in court, debunking claims that politicians who switch parties are shielded.

The commission also firmly denied reports that it deducts a cut from recovered funds without approval. They clarified that only the President has that statutory power under the Proceeds of Crime Act, and the EFCC operates strictly within legal boundaries, upholding transparency and integrity in all its financial dealings.
