Zephia Ovia-Ikem, a Nigerian tech entrepreneur and advocate for youth empowerment, has been appointed by UNICEF as its Next Generation (NextGen) Champion for Nigeria. In this role, she will leverage her networks to mobilize business leaders, raise awareness, and help accelerate progress for children’s rights and well-being across the country.
Ovia-Ikem, who has supported UNICEF’s Generation Unlimited Nigeria initiative since its inception, described children and youth as Nigeria’s greatest asset and expressed her passion for creating sustainable economic opportunities for them. As a NextGen Champion, she joins a global community dedicated to advancing education, health, digital innovation, and climate resilience.
