TINUBU NOMINATES DR. BERNARD DORO AS MINISTER TO REPLACE APC CHAIRMAN YILWATDA

President Bola Tinubu has nominated Dr. Bernard Doro from Plateau State as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The nomination, sent to the Senate for confirmation, follows the elevation of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, the former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, to National Chairman of the APC.

Born January 23, 1969, in Kwall, Plateau, Dr. Doro brings over 20 years of experience spanning clinical practice, pharmaceutical management, strategic leadership, and community engagement in both Nigeria and the UK. Holding degrees in Pharmacy and Law, an MBA in IT-driven business strategy, and a Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice, he’s an Independent Prescriber and Advanced Clinical Practitioner with NHS frontline experience. Beyond his profession, he’s also deeply involved in youth mentorship and social impact efforts in diaspora and local communities.

The Senate is expected to screen and confirm Doro’s nomination soon, marking a key addition to the federal cabinet.
