REPS SUMMON PROVOSTS OF IBADAN AND OJI RIVER COOPERATIVE COLLEGES OVER MISSING BUDGETS

The House of Representatives Committee on Agricultural Colleges and Institutions has called on the management of Federal Cooperative College, Ibadan, and Federal Cooperative College, Oji River, to explain why they have failed to submit their 2024 and 2025 capital budgets. Committee Clerk Abubakar Sadiq says the provosts must appear on Thursday with their finance and procurement directors to account for expenditures.

The committee stressed that submitting these crucial documents will influence budget allocations for 2026. Both colleges missed previous deadlines and failed to show up for earlier invitations, raising concerns about accountability and transparency in managing public funds. Lawmakers warn that non-compliance could affect future funding and urged full cooperation.
