The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted a mix of sunny skies and isolated thunderstorms from Wednesday to Friday. The northern region will enjoy sunny mornings, while the central and southern regions can expect clouds and afternoon thunderstorms with moderate rains.
Morning thunderstorms with light rains are likely over southern states like Edo, Ogun, Ebonyi, and Lagos, while afternoon showers will spread wider across the south. Central states, including the Federal Capital Territory, Kogi, and Nasarawa, will see sun mixed with afternoon rains, and parts of Taraba in the south could experience isolated storms.
NiMet advises airline operators to check airport-specific weather updates and residents to stay informed through official channels for their safety.
