NIGERIAN INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC RELATIONS FORMS NATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR 2026 WORLD PR FORUM IN ABUJA

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has launched a 22-member National Planning Committee (NPC) to organize the 2026 World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) scheduled to take place in Abuja. The global event, hosted in partnership with the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, will draw PR professionals from over 126 countries.

Chairman Dr Suleiman Haruna expressed gratitude for the trust placed in the committee and vowed professionalism and excellence in delivering a memorable forum. NIPR President Dr Ike Neliaku emphasized the forum’s power to shape Nigeria’s narrative, strengthen its global reputation, and showcase its communication prowess. Co-chairman Malam Yakubu Lamai revealed plans for dynamic workshops, training, and cultural entertainment reminiscent of FESTAC ’77, aiming to leave visitors enamored with Nigeria.

The WPRF Abuja 2026 promises not just a conference but a celebration of African storytelling and a platform to connect globally through authentic communication.
