GBENGA OLAWEPO HASHIM URGES NIGERIANS TO UNITE AGAINST APC’S ECONOMIC MISMANAGEMENT

Former presidential candidate Dr. Gbenga Olawepo Hashim is calling on Nigerians to rise above ethnic and political divides to save the country from the “ruinous grip” of the All Progressives Congress (APC). In a stinging statement, he accused the ruling party of economic mismanagement, massive debt increase, and worsening poverty and insecurity.

Hashim highlighted how Nigeria’s GDP shrank from $574 billion in 2014 to less than $259 billion, while national debt ballooned more than fifteenfold under the APC. He warned Nigerians not to fall for divisive tactics pitting the South against the North or Christians against Muslims, stressing that poverty and hunger affect all equally.

He urged opposition leaders to unite for transparent elections and reforms, confident that APC will fail if polls are fair. Ending with a moral call for collective action, Hashim emphasized that Nigeria can no longer afford misrule and must stand up to reclaim its future.
