ANAMBRA POLICE RESCUE TWO CHILDREN AFTER NINE MONTHS OF BEING MISSING

In a heartwarming turn, the Anambra Police Command has successfully rescued two children, Sunday Aliya (14) and Ebenezer Emmanuel (12), who had been missing for nine long months. Acting on intelligence, the police traced the children across Edo and Delta States after the case was reported in January when the boys failed to return from fetching water near their home in Fegge.

The arrest of a suspect in Katsina helped lead to the location of the children—one found in Umunede, Delta, and the other in Benin City, Edo. Commissioner of Police Ikioye Orutugu praised the determination and professionalism of his team, reaffirming their commitment to pursue every lead until justice and reunification are achieved. The parents in Ilorin, Kwara, are being contacted for a joyous reunion.
