The All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos chapter has strongly condemned the #FreeNnamdiKanu protest taking place across parts of the South East, calling it a dangerous and politically motivated agitation. Spokesman Seye Oladejo accused opposition leaders of sponsoring the unrest to regain lost relevance, describing the protest as a deceitful manipulation disguised as activism.
Oladejo highlighted the ongoing suffering in the South East due to violence, kidnappings, and economic disruption, saying the protests mock the memories of victims and ignore widows’ tears and orphans’ pain. He urged Nigerians, especially leaders in the region, to reject these divisive tactics and trust the judiciary to handle the case fairly.
