LAGOS RRS NAB 75 STOLEN PHONES AND 5 LAPTOPS ABANDONED BY FLEEING SUSPECTS

The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of Lagos Police recently recovered a huge haul of stolen devices 75 mobile phones including 32 iPhones and five laptops abandoned by two suspects who took off during a patrol near Allen Roundabout, Ikeja.

Police spokesperson SP Abimbola Adebisi said the suspects dropped the large “Ghana Must Go” bags when they spotted the officers. Along with phones, RRS found smartwatches, AirPods, Samsung Tabs, and damaged phones believed to be stolen from various parts of Ikeja.

Commander CSP Shola Jejeloye confirmed the items were stolen property, urging anyone missing similar gadgets to visit RRS Headquarters in Alausa with proof for identification and recovery. Commissioner of Police CP Moshood Jimoh praised the officers for their quick action, reaffirming the command’s commitment to intelligence-driven policing and crime prevention in Lagos.
