Connecting farmers with crucial info just got easier in Katsina! The state government is set to launch a dedicated farmers’ radio station to provide real-time advice on farm management, pest control, and marketing.
Announced by Agriculture Commissioner Prof. Ahmed Bakori ahead of Vice-President Kashim Shettima’s visit, the station aims to support smallholder farmers by complementing existing extension services and the Katsina Sustainable Platform for Agriculture (KASPA). Farmers will now have a direct line to experts, making farming more profitable and sustainable.
Alongside this, Shettima will inaugurate an e-centre and a new road project, further boosting the state’s development.
