Bringing back the sprint and spirit! The CLIMM Track and Field Foundation is grooming over 500 young athletes in the Southeast to reclaim the region’s proud legacy in athletics.
Founded by five ex-international athletes including British Army personnel Leo Okoroafo, CLIMM’s annual championship in Umuahia nurtures talent beyond just competition, investing in education and vocational training. The foundation honors their late coach Tobias Igwe, who discovered them all.
With strong support from Abia State’s Governor Alex Otti and Ministry of Sports, the championship also promotes youth empowerment, discourages crime, and pushes local athletes towards national and international success.
