The Federal High Court in Abuja has scheduled November 17 for the judgment in the sexual harassment lawsuit against suspended University of Calabar lecturer, Prof. Cyril Ndifon. The date was fixed after final written addresses were adopted by both the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and the defense team.
Ndifon, who served as Dean of the Faculty of Law at UNICAL, and his co-defendant, lawyer Sunny Anyanwu, face allegations including sexual harassment, cybercrime, and attempting to pervert the course of justice. Ndifon is accused of pressuring a female student to send indecent photos via WhatsApp, while Anyanwu allegedly threatened the student during the case. Both have pleaded not guilty. The case has drawn significant attention due to its serious nature and high-profile defendants.
