ENUGU BUZZES AS GOV PETER MBAH SET TO JOIN APC WITH TOP PARTY LEADERS

The capital city of Enugu is buzzing with excitement as Governor Peter Mbah and his political appointees prepare to officially join the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday. Senior Special Assistant Uche Anichukwu announced that high-profile leaders including Vice President Sen. Kashim Shettima, Senate President Sen. Godswill Akpabio, and House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas will welcome Mbah into the party, alongside APC’s National Working Committee, governors, ministers, and lawmakers.

Support from key groups like Ohanaeze Ndigbo and former PDP chairman Augustine Nnamani highlights the depth of backing for Mbah’s move, which many see as a strategic step to attract more federal projects and foster development in Enugu State. Traditional rulers and the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) also endorse the decision, emphasizing its alignment with the people’s interests and regional fairness. The shift signals a new political course for Enugu as Mbah charts a path rooted in grassroots growth.
