Major-General Sadiq Ndalolo, Chief of Training for the Nigerian Army, has urged all security agencies to boost operational planning, enhance inter-agency coordination, and embrace technology to outsmart emerging threats. Speaking at the 2025 Operations Planning Cadre in Abuja, he stressed the need for civil-military cooperation and sharing of information to combat insurgency more effectively, especially around the Federal Capital Territory.
Represented by his deputy, Maj.-Gen. Ifeanyi Otu, Ndalolo explained that tackling today’s complex security challenges demands a united approach involving ministries, departments, agencies, and the military. He emphasized roles ranging from intelligence to humanitarian support and community rehabilitation as key to lasting peace and stability.
Maj.-Gen. Maxwell Dangana, Commander of Army Headquarters Garrison, added that no security service can succeed alone, highlighting the importance of training, joint exercises, and innovative interaction. The cadre aims to sharpen critical thinking and operational skills through realistic training, ensuring Nigeria’s forces remain ahead in the fight against evolving threats.
