Residents of Otte and Budo-Egba in Kwara State celebrated as Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq inaugurated a newly upgraded 500,000-litre waterworks, ending their long struggle for clean, safe water. Represented by his Special Adviser, the governor said this project is part of his vision to modernize water infrastructure and ensure every Kwaran has access to safe water.
“This isn’t just about water, it’s about improving lives and restoring trust in good governance,” he said, highlighting how access to clean water reduces disease and lets children focus on school.
Local leaders praised the project as life-changing, while officials urged residents to protect the facility. The governor’s administration continues to expand similar projects across the state, signaling a strong commitment to rural development and better living standards.
